Released: PowerShell PKI Module 2.6 (Aug 06, 2013)

Attention: I would like to hear more about what you are thinking about the project? I appreciate that you like it (1000+ downloads over past 6 months), but may be you have to say something? What do you dislike in the module? Maybe you would love to see some new functionality? Tell, what you think!

Installation guide:
  • Use default installation path to install this module for current user only.
  • To install this module for all users — enable "Install for all users" check-box in installation UI

Note: if previous module installations are detected, they are removed during upgrade.

Release notes for version 2.6:
  • Major and minor bug fixing.
  • New updated installer behavior. The module is now divided in two components: Client and Server. During installation you may decide which component (or all) component to install. Client component includes commands which are not related to Active Directory Certificate Services and are intended to work with client side only. Server component includes commands which are intended to manage Active Directory Certificate Services.
  • Updated internal syntax to make it more unified.
  • Added Certificate Enrollment Policy service (CEP) endpoint management support.Note: CEP management is supported on Windows 7 and newer operating systems.
  • Added direct Certificate Enrollment Web Service (CES) endpoint URL update.
  • Significant certificate template code update. The code is updated for future certificate template editing within PowerShell.
  • Major ASN namespace update to make it more consistent and reliable.
  • The following bugs are addressed/fixed:

New commands:
  • Convert-PemToPfx
  • Convert-PfxToPem
  • Get-EnrollmentPolicyServerClient
  • New-SelfSignedCertificateEx
  • Ping-ICertInterface
  • Start-PsFCIV
