New Post: submitting a request to a CA in untrusted domain

Hi, we have some clients that require certificates from a CA in another domain. Currently we are using Certreq to request the certificates via a Https request.
We find problems with Certreq timeouts etc so want to move to a new method.

Can you advise best way to complete this.
